Louisville, Kentucky heavy machinery business Brandeis Machinery has signed on with Front Row Motorsports for a one-race deal at the next Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series event in Sparta, Kentucky. The local business has a past with driver David Ragan and the Cup Series but will partner with Front Row for the first time.
Ragan’s previous race with Brandeis Machinery, at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 2016, resulted in a less-than stellar 37th place finish. Partnering with Front Row this time, all involved will look to improve on the results.
The Georgia native is looking forward to having a local sponsor on his Ford Fusion for the Kentucky Weekend.
“We love having local partners on our Ford Fusion,” Ragan stated in the press release. “With Brandeis located just down I-71 in Louisville, this will be a home game for them. It will be a great opportunity to showcase their brand to current and potential customers and to the entire racing community.”
Ragan hs competed in 17 of 18 events in 2017, boasting two top ten finishes for Front Row Motorsports at the spring Talladega event and in last Saturday’s Coke-Zero 400 from Daytona International Speedway.
The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series will begin its weekend at Kentucky on Friday with practice for the Quaker State 400. Television Broadcast coverage will be aired on NBCSN beginning with final practice on Friday, July 7th at 1pm Eastern time.
