Christopher Bell Leads Lone Truck Series Practice at Texas Motor Speedway

Christopher Bell led the rain-delayed practice for the Camping World Truck Series at Texas Motor Speedway Friday morning. Running 23 laps in the session, Bell posted a fast lap of 182.556 mph, edging non-Chaser Tyler Reddick, who posted a fast lap of 181.855 mph. Matt Tifft, Matt Crafton and William Byron rounded out the top 5.

Spencer Gallagher, posted the sixth quickest speed, ahead of Ben Rhodes in seventh. Daniel Suarez was eighth quickest. Jesse Little, who will attempt to make his fourth start this season, came in ninth, while Daniel Hemric rounded out the top 10.

Meanwhile, Chasers Johnny Sauter, Timothy Peters and Ben Kennedy all struggled with speed during the session. Sauter, who is locked into the Championship 4 already, was 14th-quickest, followed by Peters in 15th. Kennedy was 19th on the charts when the session ended.

The 35 drivers currently on the entry list will set the field during qualifying this afternoon at 2:45 p.m. local time. The Striping Technology 350 will run 147 laps tonight, beginning at 7:30 p.m. local time.
