Entry List: Food City 300

The XFINITY Series will take a break from road course racing this weekend, hitting the high-banked Bristol Motor Speedway.

Following a rain-filled event at Mid-Ohio SportsCar Course, NASCAR’s second-tier series looks to normalcy this weekend. With 42 cars on the preliminary entry list, two folks will pack their bags and go home before Friday evening’s Food City 300.

There are four Sprint Cup drivers entered for the XFINITY Series race, up from a mere one at Mid-Ohio.

Hermie Sadler makes his return to racing, stepping away from the microphone. He will pilot the No. 14 car for TriStar Motorsports, rejoining the team after working with them in 2014.

Regan Smith makes his XFINITY Series return this weekend, piloting the No. 88 car for JR Motorsports. Before returning to the Cup Series this year, he competed full-time for JRM from 2013 to 2015, winning five races for the organization.

The XFINITY Series will hit the track starting Thursday at 1 p.m. ET.
