Team Penske Makes Nationwide Driver Change for Homestead

Team Penske announced on Monday that Brad Keselowski will drive the No. 22 Discount Tire Ford Mustang in Nationwide Series season finale, the Ford 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway this weekend. Joey Logano was originally scheduled to run the race, but Team Penske made the decision to allow Logano to focus on the Sprint Cup Series Championship.

Logano joins Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick and Ryan Newman with a shot at the championship, while Keselowski found himself eliminated following Phoenix. Team Penske is hoping to score the owner’s points championship in Nationwide as they enter with a 29-point lead over Joe Gibbs Racing. In seven Nationwide Series starts at Homestead, Keselowski has two wins and four top 5s.
