Ryan Lynch to drive for Green Light Racing in NCWTS Texas race

SS Green Light Racing announced on Tuesday that Ryan Lynch will drive for the No. 07 IDLifeRacing.com/BlankHood.com Chevrolet SS in this weekend’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Texas Motor Speedway. The Texas native is looking to top his career best finish of a 24th place finish at Kentucky Speedway in 2013.

“I’m so excited that I have the opportunity to race at my home track again,” Lynch said. “To know that I get to go back to Texas at all is just amazing, but I feel like this year is an opportunity for me to really prove I can race at this level. I’m confident that Bobby Dotter and his crew have put together a great truck for me, and I cannot thank him and my long time Super Truck crew chief JR Wiest enough for putting this deal together for me.

“This will be the first opportunity I’ve had to go back to a track in the NASCAR series. This time I know the techniques and feel of the track that I had to spend an entire race learning last year. This time I can go all in from the drop of the green – and that is a great feeling.”

Lynch will hit the track for the first time for practice on Thursday October 30th, before qualifying and racing on Friday October 31st. The race will be shown live on FOX Sports 1 and will also be broadcast via the Motor Racing Network and on SIRIUSXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
