“It was an exciting day, to say the least. A lot of people got to see great racing. Dover always puts on a great race. This place is so tough. I have to say that I thought I was going to let these guys down. Once I was able to get the track position and get near the front, it really worked out – and obviously, [it was] a hell of a race, my teammates and the No. 48 (Jimmie Johnson) and everybody. I can’t tell you how proud I am and excited that I was racing Matt Kenseth and Carl Edwards for the win.” – Greg Biffle
“It was a fun race. Out of the three of us there all duking it out, there were going to be two guys that aren’t as happy as the other guy. So, I’m really happy for Greg [Biffle]. That’s two wins is a row, and that team’s really hitting their stride. It was a good day for us. Most of the day, we were really solid on pit road and made some good adjustments. We’re just a little off.” – Matt Kenseth, finished second
“I hope you guys enjoyed it in the stands, because we enjoyed it. That was fun. Man, that was cool. My hat’s off to Greg [Biffle], he did a really good job. That’s the most you run into one another and go back and forth without wrecking each other. That’s fun to do right there. Obviously, I wanted to win. I felt like we had a car that could win. We gambled, got two tires and that’s how it went. That was a blast.” – Carl Edwards, finished third

Tony Gibson and these guys gave me a shot to win this thing, and I can’t tell you what it means to me. Man, this thing was awesome on long runs… it was really coming before that last caution. “It went kinda like we expected today. I knew we were going to be strong, but I knew deep down inside that the Roush cars had something special today and it was going to be tough to beat those guys. Very proud of the effort today. Not really a bad day – to be fifth, we are doing everything right. We will just roll on from here to this next race with this Lowe’s Impala. I think the fans are getting what they paid for.” – Jimmie Johnson
“The Shell-Pennzoil Chevrolet was awesome today. I think we only made a few minor adjustments on it during the race. I am just really proud of all my guys, and I really think we still have the momentum to win this thing.” – Kevin Harvick, finished sixth
“We’re good, but we’re just not quite good enough. We’ve got to just keep going back to the drawing board and keep working at it. It’s a good points week for us, as well as performance, and we’ll go on to Kansas.” – Jeff Gordon, finished seventh
“It was a really good day for the Jack Daniel’s Chevrolet. I needed a couple more laps, and I think I could have gotten by Jeff [Gordon] – but we got out of Dover with all four fenders and a top 10. We’ll take that and roll on to Kansas.” – Clint Bowyer, finished eighth
“We were pretty decent. The AT&T Chevrolet was really good in the middle of the race when everybody was on different pit sequences. I’m proud of the effort everyone on this team put in to get the finish we did. We’re only 20% into the Chase and anything can happen, but you can believe that we’re going to continue to keep digging.” – Jeff Burton, finished ninth
“I’m just real proud of my team. We qualified bad. To battle all day long and run good – that’s what it’s all about. We spent enough Sundays just trying to stay out of the way, and it’s fun to race. That’s why I signed up for this job 25 years ago. Just a basic day. Bobby Kennedy called a great race, but we didn’t pull no tricks; we just outran a bunch of them.” – Michael Waltrip, finished 10th
“Honestly, once you got past the part about your car sliding around, it was kind of fun the way the track moved around as much as it did. I mean, I felt like that’s the most I’ve ever moved around here at Dover… if I were the No. 18 (Kyle Busch) team, I’d go out there and just worry about winning races again. It’s been a remarkable, record-setting year for that kid, and the best way to finish it off now is to go out there and win three or four races during the ‘Chase’.” – Tony Stewart, finished 11th
“I really hate how it hurt our points race, but that was the best we could do today. We didn’t put the right setup underneath it. Me and Tony [Eury] Jr. worked on that direction today, but it was the wrong direction. So, we’ll try to rebound next week.” – Dale Earnhardt Jr., finished 24th
