Smith’s Talladega struggles left him way below the playoff cutline with one race remaining in the round.
Chase Purdy took the pole on the final lap of qualifying on Saturday (Sept. 30) at Talladega Superspeedway.
The Truck race at the track will also return.
The assets of the KBM NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team as well as Rowdy Manufacturing are included in the sale.
The list includes Brett Moffitt and Chandler Smith joining the Truck Series field at Talladega.
Smith replaces DiBenedetto at Talladega.
Moffitt will join Front Row teammate Zane Smith at Talladega.
A different driver will pilot the No. 25 for the rest of the season.
Dye will run at least two Xfinity races for the team.
The national series will not race at Bristol on dirt in 2024.
