Will Kimmel Earns 1st ARCA Pole Since 2017

Will Kimmel will lead the ARCA Menards Series field to the green flag this evening at Charlotte Motor Speedway, marking the first time the 37-year-old has recorded a pole since 2017.

Kimmel’s lap of 176.407 mph beat out second-place William Sawalich by three hundredths of a second, giving him the pole.

Sawalich will start on the outside of the front row in his first race at the Charlotte oval.

Row two will feature Pinnacle Racing Group teammates Brenden Queen and Austin Green, rolling off the grid third and fourth, respectively.

Isabella Robusto will start fifth, rounding out the top five starters. She’ll share the second row with Grant Enfinger, who starts sixth.

The remainder of the top 10 is Patrick Staropoli, Andy Jankowiak, Lavar Scott and Lawless Alan

One car did not take to the track in this session, the No. 79 of Jason Kitzmiller. He will miss tonight’s race to attend his daughter’s high school graduation but is credited with a start for participating in practice.
