Vicente Salas Debuting in Xfinity With APR

Vicente Salas will run a limited NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule in 2025 for Alpha Prime Racing, the team announced Jan. 24.

Salas joins the ever-growing roster of the No. 45, which currently sports starts from Caesar Bacarella, Brad Perez and Mason Massey.

Salas’ exact schedule, including his first start, will be announced later.

Should he qualify, his first start will mark Salas’ Xfinity debut. He ran two NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races in 2024 between Young’s Motorsports and McAnally-Hilgemann Racing, with a best finish of 25th at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway.

APR has not yet confirmed if the No. 45 will run full time in 2025. In 2024, the car was part time. Parker Retzlaff and Brennan Poole will pilot its full-time efforts.
