King’s Hawaiian Moves to Denny Hamlin, JGR

King’s Hawaiian will sponsor Denny Hamlin in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2025 and beyond, Joe Gibbs Racing announced Jan. 22.

The company adorns Hamlin’s No. 11 in four races this year: Atlanta Motor Speedway in June, Daytona International Speedway in August, Bristol Motor Speedway in September and Martinsville Speedway in October.

JGR did not specify how long the deal is past being for multiple years.

“We are thrilled to have King’s Hawaiian join our family at Joe Gibbs Racing,” JGR owner Joe Gibbs said in a team release. “Their dinner rolls and other products have really become a part of the daily lives of so many families over the past 75 years and we look forward to helping them celebrate such a significant anniversary this season both on and off the track.”

“We’re very excited to welcome King’s Hawaiian to our team,” Hamlin added. “It’s certainly a product we are very familiar with in our household and a great brand that has made a strong commitment to our sport. I’m looking forward to all the exciting things that we can do on and off the track to elevate their program to the next level.”

King’s Hawaiian had previously sponsored RFK Racing in the series.

Hamlin earned three wins, 12 top fives and 18 top 10s in 2024, ultimately finishing eighth in points.

Wow, plenty of stories about Nascar, from Jeff Gordon hiring chili bowl drivers for HMS, Kyle Larson fantastic start this year, to Brad Keselowski selling the 3D manufacturing company he started and made a fortune making space parts for department of defense and NASA and Nascar cars and then selling it to the world’s leading company. And front stretch tells us about car colors or Hawaiian rolls sponsoring the whiner. Come on front stretch.

Spot on! For a site that wants to be a leader it has been
“crickets “ on any of the subjects you mentioned. Some recent posts on historical subjects, but that’s been about it.
Hey.. I understand it’s the off season, but literally shutting things down for 2 weeks ??? Chris Economaki , original Speed Sport News editor , is rolling over in his grave!
I had no idea about BK’s business venture, apparently neither did Frontstretch!!

Actually Brad merged the 3D company he started up in north Carolina, KAM, with the other top company ADDMAN last Sept, making them the largest and best company in what they do in America. Brad is on the executive board and still is the largest shareholder. We don’t hear a lot about Brad’s company KAM because most of its contracts are top secret with the government. Brad has always been a thinker and a race car driver. If you look up Brad’s net worth all you will find is Nascar related money. You won’t find out about KAM money. I have no clue why someone at front stretch hasn’t told the whole story about Brad’s huge, very huge, success with a business he dreamed up and started himself. KAM I bet many in Nascar would like to learn about how sharp BRAD really is.

Check out the Dale Jr Download on Youtube. They just released an episode 3 days ago? where Kelley interviewed Brad. She’s not the best interviewer IMO (her delivery seemed awkward / mistimed on occasion), but Brad did share some interesting tidbits on some of his business interests as well as some (carefully worded) opinions about where NA$CAR could be better from the business/marketing side.

I sound like a total shill for that show, but I assure you I have no affiliation and receive nothing for my recommendation. They just seem to have some interesting, open conversations on that platform. Some better than others, but most of them I’ve enjoyed and often found a new perspective on a person/situation that I didn’t have before. It’s like small peeks behind the curtain from various points of view.

I agree with you

I can’t copy and paste . Google Jeff Gordon saw the hurt on Kyle’s face- I think it was man, about Nascar new 2025 rule. If Kyle Larson races the Indy and misses the Nascar race willingly, then he will lose every point he’s earned all season. It’s the Kyle Larson 2025 Nascar rule change again. Kyle snubbed the France family and he has to pay. Gordon is mad.

Thanks both for the info on Brad, and Kelly’s interview.
I see some unintended consequence down the road for the new Larson Rule… time will tell, but doesn’t good ole fate show up at just the right, or wrong, time ??
Us Larson fans are praying for no rain at Indy just to nip all this in the bud.
But one could write a entire book about fate and Indy.. and probably already have …Road to Indy by Terry Reed comes to mind.
