Paul Miller Racing Reveals 2025 Drivers

Paul Miller Racing revealed their 2025 full-time driver lineups Tuesday morning (Jan. 14). The team previously announced their intention to expand to two BMW M4 GT3s in the GTD Pro class and will do that with a suite of BMW M factory drivers.

“We’re really excited to have such a successful lineup of BMW factory guys in our cars this year,” stated team owner Paul Miller. “Of course, working with Madison since 2016 and adding Neil to the team last year is a known quantity that we know can succeed. And adding Dan [Harper] and Max [Hesse] to the team is a really exciting prospect to have for our program. The competition is always tough in IMSA, but I know with these drivers we have a great chance of fighting at the front.”

Car No. 1 is the existing team. Madison Snow will be back in the car full-time. This year, he will have Neil Verhagen as his regular teammate. Verhagen, who served as the team’s third driver last year, will replace Bryan Sellers, who has stepped into a management role at DXDT Racing.

On the endurance side, Snow and Verhagen will be joined by Connor de Phillippi and Kelvin van der Linde in Daytona. De Phillippi will be in the car for multiple races, while van der Linde will make his BMW debut in Daytona.

Sharing the No. 1 full-time with Sellers last season, Snow claimed an overall victory in the GT-only race at VIR (pictured above) along with two additional podiums en route to a third-place finish in GTD Pro points. Verhagen drove in all five Michelin Endurance Cup races in the car. While they didn’t win any of them, consistent running earned the team the Michelin Endurance Cup for the GTD Pro class.

De Phillippi comes to the team after spending the past two years running the No. 25 full-time in the GTP class for BMW M Team RLL. Last year, de Phillippi finished eighth in GTP points with teammate Nick Yelloly with a best finish of second at Indianapolis.

Van der Linde is new to the BMW fold for 2025, joining his younger brother Sheldon. He had spent the past few years as an Audi factory driver, but was let go at the end of last year when Audi released everyone in order to focus on their upcoming entry into Formula 1.

Most recently, van der Linde raced full-time in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) for the factory-backed Abt Sportline team last year. He won three races and finished on the podium six times on his way to finishing second in points.

In the No. 48 will be a brand-new driver lineup. Dan Harper and Max Hesse will drive the second car full-time. Both drivers are BMW M works drivers who have never raced in IMSA before.

Both drivers come from GT3 racing in Europe. Hesse was full-time in Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup, where he won a race and finished eighth in points. He also finished third overall in the ADAC Ravenol 24H Nurburgring.

At the Nurburgring, Hesse shared a BMW with Harper. Harper’s biggest accomplishment to this point in his career was winning the British GT Championship in 2023. This past season, he won the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Sprint Cup title in the Bronze Cup class. Both drivers were part of the winning Team WRT-run Al Manar Racing entry in the Michelin 24H Dubai just last weekend at Dubai Autodrome.

Hesse and Harper will be joined by experienced teammates in Daytona. Augusto Farfus and Jesse Krohn will be in the No. 48 BMW.

Krohn was full-time in the No. 24 BMW M Hybrid V8 for BMW M Team RLL last season. Teamed with Philipp Eng, Krohn won at Indianapolis and finished seventh in points. Farfus drove with Krohn and Eng at Daytona, Sebring and Road Atlanta. His best finish was fourth in the Motul Petit Le Mans in October.

The new pairings will make their on-track debut Friday during the ROAR Before the 24 pre-season test at Daytona International Speedway. Frontstretch will be on-site in Daytona to bring you all the action.

Phil Allaway has three primary roles at Frontstretch. He's the manager of the site's FREE e-mail newsletter that publishes Monday-Friday and occasionally on weekends. He keeps TV broadcasters honest with weekly editions of Couch Potato Tuesday and serves as the site's Sports Car racing editor.

Outside of Frontstretch, Phil is the press officer for Lebanon Valley Speedway in West Lebanon, N.Y. He covers all the action on the high-banked dirt track from regular DIRTcar Modified racing to occasional visits from touring series such as the Super DIRTcar Series.
