Happy Hour: Sam Hunt Joins & a Very Special Return

On this week’s Happy Hour, hosts Trey Lyle, Michael Massie and Caleb Barnes are joined by NASCAR Xfinity Series owner Sam Hunt to talk all the things happening at Sam Hunt Racing in 2024.

Hunt dives into his relationship with Toyota, working with Corey Heim and an array of other drivers, which track he is sad isn’t on the NXS schedule next season and more.

After that, Lyle, Massie and Barnes are joined by a surprise guest making his return to Happy Hour. Tune in to find out who it is.

The guys discuss the three Joe Gibbs Racing drivers — Ty Gibbs, Denny Hamlin and Martin Truex Jr. — in danger of missing the NASCAR Cup Series Round of 12 and give their predictions on who will be below the cut line following Bristol Motor Speedway.

The quartet then get into stage cautions at road courses. Should they have returned this year? Is it better to take the stage points or keep the track position.
