Kris Wright will drive the entire 2024 ARCA Menards Series season for Venturini Motorsports, it announced Nov. 14.
He’ll drive the No. 15 full time, with FNB Corporation the sponsor.
Wright ran a pair of main-series ARCA events for Venturini in 2023, with a best finish of sixth at Watkins Glen International. He also drove a race in the ARCA Menards Series West.
2024 will mark Wright’s first full-time run in ARCA. He has 15 starts in the series since 2020, scoring nine top 10s.
He started 2023 running full time for Young’s Motorsports in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. He left the team after 11 starts and no top 10s.
“Kris Wright has shown impressive speed across a wide range of tracks since joining Venturini Motorsports,” Billy Venturini, general manager and owner of Venturini, said in a team release. “I believe he has a strong chance to contend consistently throughout next season’s entire schedule.”
Wright is the first driver to be announced to Venturini’s ARCA stable for 2024. In 2023, the No. 15 was piloted by a variety of drivers in the main series, including Sean Hingorani, who also drove the car full time in both the ARCA Menards Series East and West.
The team’s only full-time main-series driver in 2023, Jesse Love, has since moved to Richard Childress Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
