Corey Heim Wins Pole for Phoenix Championship Race

Corey Heim won the pole for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship race at Phoenix Raceway Nov. 3.

The Marietta, Ga., native was the final entry to run in qualifying and posted a speed of 136.65 mph in his lap.

It is his first pole at Phoenix, his fourth of the 2023 season and the sixth of his career.

“It’s huge, it’s a track position game,” Heim told FOX Sports 1 after qualifying. “Of course a great start to the day, but we’ve got a really big box to check tonight. So clearly we’ve got a lot of speed but there’s gonna be a lot of strategy that goes into it tonight and hopefully we can keep it up front.”
