Corey Heim won the pole for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship race at Phoenix Raceway Nov. 3.
The Marietta, Ga., native was the final entry to run in qualifying and posted a speed of 136.65 mph in his lap.
It is his first pole at Phoenix, his fourth of the 2023 season and the sixth of his career.
“It’s huge, it’s a track position game,” Heim told FOX Sports 1 after qualifying. “Of course a great start to the day, but we’ve got a really big box to check tonight. So clearly we’ve got a lot of speed but there’s gonna be a lot of strategy that goes into it tonight and hopefully we can keep it up front.”
The only other Championship 4 driver to qualify within the top 10 was Ben Rhodes, who will start sixth.
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship at Phoenix Raceway will be decided tonight at 10 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on FOX Sports 1.
