Eric Nascimento Nabs 1st Career ARCA West Pole

Eric Nascimento took the pole for the ARCA Menards Series West race at Madera Speedway on Saturday (Oct. 21) night. He’ll lead the field to green in tonight’s penultimate race of the 2023 season.

It’s Nascimento’s first career West pole. He is currently seventh in the points with four top fives and five top 10s.

Nascimento will be joined by Kaden Honeycutt on the starting front row. Honeycutt paced the field during practice.

Central Coast Racing teammates Todd Souza and Tyler Reif make up the starting second row in third and fourth, respectively.

Points leader Sean Hingorani will start in fifth, followed by Bradley Erickson, Tanner Reif, Trevor Huddleston, Dustin Ash and Kyle Keller in sixth through 10th, respectively.

All 19 drivers completed their two-lap runs during qualifying so all will start the 150-lap race at the 1/3-mile short track.

ARCA West Qualifying Results

The West drivers will take the green flag on Saturday night at 11 p.m. ET with live coverage provided by FloRacing.
