Bullpen Roundup: What Cup Drivers Had to Say Before Texas

Welcome to a new weekly Frontstretch column that delivers on exclusive coverage, interviews and press conferences at the track each weekend. The Saturday before a NASCAR Cup Series race has a media bullpen for select Cup drivers and all of Frontstretch‘s interviews and coverage can be found here going forward.

FORT WORTH, Texas – Between the desires for a new Texas Motor Speedway layout, reflections on the Round of 16, preparations for the Round of 12 and outlooks for Sunday’s (Sept. 24) EchoPark Automotive 400 in 100-degree weather, playoff drivers had plenty to discuss before, during and after the Cup Series’ practice and qualifying sessions at Texas on Saturday (Sept. 23).
