Todd Gilliland Paces Final Truck Practice of 2021

Practice returned to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule for its season finale at Phoenix Raceway, and Todd Gilliland led the field Nov. 5.

Gilliland crowned the 39-truck field with a speed of 135.844 mph.

Sheldon Creed, Tyler Ankrum, Chandler Smith and Ben Rhodes rounded out the top five. Of the group, Rhodes is the lone contender for the 2021 Truck title.

The other championship hopefuls include John Hunter Nemechek (ninth), Zane Smith (12th) and Matt Crafton (18th).

All 39 entered trucks took time during the session.

Truck Phoenix Practice Results

The series will qualify for tonight’s race at 5:05 p.m. ET, with three trucks failing to qualify for the 36-truck field. The race will follow at 8 p.m. ET, with coverage on FOX Sports 1.
