Jett Noland will run six races for Niece Motorsports in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2021, Niece announced Feb. 16.
Noland, who was originally scheduled to debut with the team in 2020 before COVID-19 derailed plans, will drive the No. 44 beginning at this weekend’s event at the Daytona International Speedway road course.
Richmond Raceway, Circuit of the Americas, Bristol Motor Speedway in the summer, Martinsville Speedway and the season finale at Phoenix Raceway will fill out the rest of the schedule.
“I’m very excited to finally get behind the wheel of one of these Niece Motorsports Chevrolets,” Noland said in a release. “I feel like I’ve been training my whole life for this moment and to make my debut at the World Center of Racing is unreal. I’m both honored and humbled by the chance to go out there and compete against some of the best up-and-coming racers in the world.”
Noland competed in Trans-Am Series last season and in Super Late Models in 2019.
James Buescher drove the No. 44 at Daytona last weekend. Bayley Currey is also slated to join Noland in the truck in 2021.
