Josh Bilicki Running Full-Time for Rick Ware Racing in 2021

Rick Ware Racing announced today (Jan. 19) that Josh Bilicki will be the team’s full-time driver for the 2021 NASCAR season.

Bilicki, who made his debut with Rick Ware Racing in 2017, will return to the NASAR Cup Series in the No. 52 car. In 2020, Bilicki made 34 NASCAR starts between the top three series. Last season was Bilicki’s most successful to date in the Cup Series, where he scored his best finish twice, coming home 25th at Indianapolis and the first Kansas race.

In the press release, team owner Rick Ware was enthusiastic that Bilicki is running the full season.

“I’m excited to have Josh Bilicki on board as a primary driver for the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season. Josh drove for us part time over the course of the last few years and has always done a great job representing RWR, in and out of the car. I am looking forward to seeing him grow as a driver and bring home some solid finishes this year.”

Insurance King and Junction Fuel will sponsor the No. 52 car again in some races.

Rick Ware Racing has been busy announcing their full-time drivers with Cody Ware and now Bilicki. RWR has three of its four entries for the Daytona 500 already set.

Jared Haas joined the Frontstretch staff in May 2020. During his time at Frontstretch, Jared has grown the Frontstretch YouTube channel from less than 200 subscribers to well over 23,000 subscribers.
