Colby Howard Running Rest of 2019 Truck Season With Young’s Motorsports

Colby Howard will run in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series for the remainder of the 2019 season with Young’s Motorsports, the team announced Monday, Nov. 4.

The 18-year-old Howard will pilot the No. 20 Project HOPE Foundation Chevrolet Silverado, beginning with Lucas Oil 150 at ISM Raceway on Friday, Nov. 8, as well as the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The ISM start will mark Howard’s Truck Series debut.

“It is the biggest break of my racing career,” Howard said in a press release. “I am very excited to have the opportunity to make my debut with Young’s Motorsports.”

Howard has 46 career starts in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series with four victories and 20 top fives.

In four ARCA Menards Series starts since 2018, he has four top 10s.

Howard will race alongside teammates Tyler Dippel and Gus Dean while driving for the team that won at Talladega Superspeedway last month with Spencer Boyd.

The Lucas Oil 150 will be broadcast live on FOX Sports 1 on Friday, Nov. 8.
