Daniel Suarez Wins Quaker State 400 Pole at Kentucky

Daniel Suarez claimed the pole at Kentucky Speedway for Saturday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series’ Quaker State 400 presented by Walmart.

Saurez turned his No. 41 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford Mustang to the top of the leaderboard with a speed of 184.590 mph.

In second was his teammate Aric Almirola in the No. 10 at 183.799 mph, while third was Team Penske’s Brad Keselowski in the No. 2 at 183.433 mph.

Closing out the top five were Chip Ganassi Racing’s Kurt Busch (183.355 mph), a former SHR driver, and SHR’s Kevin Harvick (183.322 mph).

Rounding out the top 10 were Richard Childress Racing rookie Daniel Hemric, SHR’s Clint Bowyer, defending race winner Martin Truex Jr of Joe Gibbs Racing, RCR’s Austin Dillon and JGR’s Kyle Busch.
