The Virginia native’s lone Xfinity start came at Richmond last fall driving for Mario Gosselin’s DGM Racing team, with support from Brandonbilt. Diaz qualified 22nd and finished 19th.
In addition, Diaz has tallied one NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series start. Driving for Brandonbilt, Diaz wheeled the No. 86 Chevrolet to a 23rd-place result at Martinsville Speedway in the fall of 2017, despite qualifying inside the top 10.
