Anheuser-Busch, Stewart-Haas Racing Extend Partnership

Anheuser-Busch and Stewart-Haas Racing have agreed on an extension to sponsor Kevin Harvick for the next three years.

The Busch brand will be featured on Harvick’s No. 4 Ford (beginning next season) for 16 races, up from the 12 primary races this year.

Thus far, the Stewart-Haas Racing team has found Victory Lane once (Bristol Motor Speedway) in the 10 races (including the Sprint Unlimited) Anheuser-Busch’s Busch brand has been on the hood of the car.

“From the retro look at Darlington to the blaze-orange hunting scheme at Charlotte, there’s been buzz every time one of the Busch paint schemes hits the track,” Harvick said in a team press release. “The fans let us know how thrilled they were to have Busch back in the sport last year, and I’m looking forward to getting back to victory lane with the Busch logo on the hood in 2017 and beyond.”

The announcement comes the weekend heading into Texas Motor Speedway, where Harvick sits sixth in the championship standings with two races remaining in the Round of 8. Busch Beer will be on the front of the No. 4 car at the 1.5-mile track.

Harvick is winless in 27 starts at Texas, but since joining Stewart-Haas Racing in 2014, he has four top-10 finishes in five races, including a pair of second-place results. In the spring he finished 10th after leading one lap.
