Entry List: Regan Smith Returns for JR Motorsports in Kansas Lottery 300

The NASCAR XFINITY Series heads to Kansas Speedway this weekend for the first race of the Round of 8 in the Chase for the Championship.

As of Tuesday, there are 40 cars entered, meaning all will make the race, barring any entry list updates.

Cole Custer will compete in the No. 5 car for JR Motorsports on Saturday. As a result of qualifying being cancelled at Charlotte, Custer didn’t make the field. This will be his fourth series start of 2016 and first at Kansas.

Regan Smith returns behind the wheel of the No. 88 for JR Motorsports this weekend. This will be his second start in the car this season. He finished 11th in his first start at Bristol in August.

Action from Kansas begins on Friday with two practice sessions, the first at 2:30 p.m. and 4:35 p.m. (all times ET). Qualifying will take place on Saturday at 12 p.m. followed by the race at 3 p.m. on NBC.
