The third and final race of the Round of 16 in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series’ Chase for the Sprint Cup will take place on Sunday at Dover International Speedway.
As of Monday, there are 40 cars entered, meaning all will make the race, barring any entry list updates.
Jeff Gordon returns to the No. 88 car this weekend for his seventh and second to last start in 2016. In his substitute role for Dale Earnhardt, Jr., his best finish of 11th came at Bristol last month. His final start this season will come at Martinsville Speedway in October.
Action from Dover begins on Friday with opening practice at 10 a.m. followed by qualifying at 3:40 p.m. (all times ET). Saturday will feature two practice sessions, the first at 10:30 a.m. and final at 1:30 p.m. The Citizen Soldier 400 will take place on Sunday at 2 p.m. on NBC Sports Network.
