Kyle Larson Leads Final XFINITY Practice at Watkins Glen

Though they’re covering 2.45 miles at Watkins Glen International, Kyle Larson took final XFINITY Series practice by 0.005 seconds over Kyle Busch.

At a lap time of 1:11.323 seconds, the No. 42 Chevrolet of Larson took the top spot after 10 laps on track in the one-hour session. With Busch in second, Joey Logano finished third followed by Brad Keselowski and Erik Jones, who jumped to fifth on his final lap.

Paul Menard was sixth with Trevor Bayne, who makes his first XFINITY start since 2014, in seventh spot. Justin Allgaier, Daniel Suarez and point leader Elliott Sadler completed the top 10.

Jeremy Clements and Ross Chastain were able to crack the top-15 times.
