Race Weekend Central

Entry List: GoBowling.com 400

Following a wild weekend at Talladega Superspeedway, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series returns to a mile-and-a-half track for the first time since early April as teams head to Kansas Speedway. This will be the second night race of 2016 and third in the history of the speedway since it installed lights for the 2014 season.

After having 41 cars entered in two consecutive races, there are only 40 entries for Saturday night as of Monday, meaning all cars will make the field.

Tony Stewart will make his permanent return to competition in the GoBowling.com 400 after racing at Richmond International Raceway, and then starting the event and getting out during the first caution due to risk of injury at Talladega Superspeedway. He is expected to be behind the wheel of the No. 14 in each event moving forward in 2016.

Joey Gase will be back in the No. 32 for GO FAS Racing this weekend for his third start this season. This will be his third time competing at Kansas Speedway in the Sprint Cup Series. He finished 37th in October 2014 and 38th last May.

Reed Sorenson will once again pilot the No. 55 for Premium Motorsports on Saturday night after Michael Waltrip competed in the car and finished 12th last Sunday at Talladega.

Action from Kansas begins on Friday with opening practice at 11:30 a.m., final practice at 1:30 p.m., and qualifying at 6:45 p.m. (all times ET). Coverage of the GoBowling.com 400 begins on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. on Fox Sports 1.
