Entry List: Duck Commander 500

The Sprint Cup Series goes from one of the slowest tracks on the schedule at Martinsville Speedway to one of the fastest at Texas Motor Speedway for the Duck Commander 500 this weekend.

For the second consecutive week, there are 40 cars entered and a full field will compete under the lights on Saturday night.

Reed Sorenson returns in the No. 55 car for Premium Motorsports after finishing 37th last weekend in his first start of the 2016 season.

Defending race winner Jimmie Johnson entered this race one a year ago with one win under his belt in the 2015 season. This season, he has already visited Victory Lane twice and will look for a third win this weekend.

Ty Dillon returns to Circle Sport-Leavine Family Racing for the Duck Commander 500 in the No. 95 Nexium 24HR Chevrolet. His first start with the organization came in the Daytona 500 and he finished 25th.

Track action begins on Thursday with opening practice at 5:30 p.m. (all times ET). On Friday, the Sprint Cup cars will qualify at 2:45 p.m. and participate in final practice at 6:30 p.m. Coverage of the first night race of 2016 will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday on FOX.
