Add another sponsor to the NASCAR ranks. Magic Creeper will appear on board the No. 97 Xfinity Series Chevrolet driven by Dylan Kwasniewski in the DAV 200 at Phoenix International Raceway on November 14. The event will mark Magic Creeper and Cloud Cap Innovations’ first experience with NASCAR sponsorship.
Kwasniewski will make his sixth NXS appearance of 2015 in the event with Obaika Racing. The sophomore, who has been sidelined most of the season due to lack of funding voiced his excitement about the announcement.
“It’s always cool to bring a new sponsor into the sport and show them how great NASCAR racing is,” Kwasniewski said in a release. “In this sport, crew members are on the ground under cars all the time. Magic Creeper would make all of their lives easier and probably make working a little more comfortable, too. We’re hoping to show everyone at Cloud Cap a great weekend at the track.”
“We can’t wait to see the Magic Creeper/Obaika Racing No. 97 on the track in Phoenix next week,” Cloud Cap Innovations CEO Steven Smith added. “Dylan is a great ambassador for us and we’re looking forward to growing recognition of this innovative product with Obaika Racing. We think it’s a winning combination.”
Kwasniewski has 38 career starts in the NXS since making his debut last season. The 20-year-old has three top-10 finishes, all scored last season and took Obaika’s No. 97 Chevrolet to a 17th-place finish at Kentucky in September.
