BK Racing Makes Driver Swap Between Jeb Burton & JJ Yeley

BK Racing announced a ride swap between Jeb Burton and JJ Yeley that will begin next weekend at Darlington Raceway. These ride swaps are not uncommon as teams look for ways to improve the core of its operation.

Burton will now pilot the No. 23 Toyota Camry with crew chief Joe Williams. Williams worked with Yeley on the box in 23 Sprint Cup Series races in 2015. Yeley will switch over to the No. 26 ride with Patrick Donahue as the crew chief. Donahue will also continue working on the No. 26 team. He worked with Burton in 17 races throughout the 2015 season.

Improving performance is very important to BKR.

“We are trying something different to improve performance for BK Racing,” said owner Ron Devine in a release. “We are confident and proud of our drivers and employees, but we are looking to try some different combinations to improve our results.”

The No. 83 Toyota with Matt DiBenedetto and other select drivers will remain untouched.
