Brennan Poole will get his chance in the NASCAR XFINITY Series this season as he will pilot the No. 42 Chevrolet in 15 races.
Poole will make his XFINITY Series debut with HScott Motorsports in the Boyd Gaming 300 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in March. DC Solar Solutions will partner with the organization to serve as the primary sponsor for Poole’s effort.
“I’m thrilled to welcome Brennan Poole and DC Solar Solutions to our family at HScott Motorsports with Chip Ganassi,” owner Harry Scott, Jr. said in a team release. “The addition of another quality partner shows the strength of our team, and gives a talented young driver like Brennan the opportunity to showcase his ability on the track.”
Poole moves into the XFINITY Series after running the last four years over in the ARCA Racing Series. In 35 career starts, the 23-year old brought home six victories, 18 top 5s, 27 top 10s and four career poles. In his only full-time season in 2012, the Texas native finished third in points.
