Country music and NASCAR tend to mix rather well and Bristol Motor Speedway is bringing both of those things together for the Irwin Toold Night Race weekend. Wynonna Judd and The Big Noise will perform during the Built Ford Tough Pre-Race Show before the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Saturday August 23rd at Bristol Motor Speedway, the first time Judd will ever perform a concert at the self-acclaimed “Last Great Colosseum”.

“Wynonna’s distinctive country sounds and high-energy hits are perfect additions to the electric atmosphere of the IRWIN Tools Night Race,” BMS Executive Vice President and General Manager Jerry Caldwell said. “I’m confident she will put on a great show for our guests, and we’re thrilled to welcome her back to Bristol as part of pre-race entertainment.”

The Irwin Tools Night Race will be the 24th race in the season and third to last before the cutoff for the Chase for the Sprint Cup. In addition to Judd’s performance, drivers will also once again be introduced with the song of their choice playing in the background. Bristol, Tennessee is known more for its racing heritage than its music, but it appears fans will get a taste of both during the iconic weekend.

The Irwin Tools Night Race will air August 23rd at  7:45PM ET on ESPN. Matt Kenseth is the defending race winner of the event.
