Tyler Reddick Scores First Career Pole

Camping World Truck Series rookie Tyler Reddick scored his first career pole in just his 13th start for Saturday afternoon’s fred’s 250 at Talladega Superspeedway. The part-time driver posted a speed of 186.827 mph (51.256 seconds). Tayler Malsam qualified second, followed by ThorSport teammates Matt Crafton and Johnny Sauter. Sophomore driver Ryan Blaney, who is also running the Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday, rounded out the top 5 qualifiers. Prior to qualifying, T.J. Bell and the No. 56 withdrew from the event, leaving 36 drivers to run for the pole.
