Making a rare appearance for JR Motorsports in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, Alex Bowman is making the most of his opportunity, winning final practice in the No. 5 Chevrolet (180.856 mph) Friday evening (Oct. 9). Brad Keselowski put up a fast lap early in the session but fell to second overall. Trevor Bayne, who was fastest in the first practice session, fell to eighth.
