Design 500 continues Lady Eagle, Deery Series, IMCA Modified awards

The centerpiece of one of IMCA’s best-known awards program returns with the renewal of Design 500 Lady Eagle prizes.

The Tukwila, Wash., driver suit and apparel manufacturer continues its Lady Eagle program for female drivers for a sixth consecutive season, giving the top finisher in combined point standings for all divisions earns a complete set of custom No Fly Zone Pro-Tek CarbonX underwear, which includes a long-sleeved mock turtleneck, long pants, headsock and socks.

The runner-up receives a No Fly Zone Pro-Tek CarbonX tank and undershorts while the third place driver earns a $100 product certificate and CarbonX socks.

Different drivers, most recently IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock driver Tiffany Bittner from Nebraska, have won the Lady Eagle award in each of its first five years.

“We are either looking for the sixth consecutive new winner of our top Lady Eagle prize or the first woman to win that elusive second championship,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “There are lots of great female racers in IMCA competition and I anticipate this competition will go right down to the final points weekend.”

Design 500 also awards $150 gift certificates to eighth place finishers at each event in the Deery Brothers Summer Series for Late Models and at 30 special events for IMCA Modifieds.

Ninth place finishers will get $100 certificates while 10th place finishers receive $50 certificates.
