Darrell Wallace Jr. to drive full-time for KBM in the Camping World Truck Series

Kyle Busch has long maintained that, while he wants his racing organization to be a winning enterprise, he ultimately wants it to be a stepping off point for people to get into motorsports before moving on to bigger and better things. Today he announced that opportunity for Darrell (Bubba) Wallace Jr. Wallace is going to drive a truck for Kyle Busch Motorsports full-time in the Camping World Truck Series in 2013.

Wallace is the second product of NASCAR’s Drive for Diversity program to sign a full-time national touring series ride this week. He joins Kyle Larson who announced a full-time Nationwide Series ride earlier this week with Turner Scott Motorsports. Wallace is a development driver for Joe Gibbs Racing who drove for Rev Racing in NASCAR’s DfD program in 2010 and 2011. He made four starts for JGR last season in the Nationwide Series, scoring three top 10 finishes.

While Wallace continues to progress through the ranks of NASCAR, he also works to give back to the sport. He runs a successful Legends racing team that competes at Charlotte Motor Speedway during the Summer Shootout Series. He will be driving the No. 54 Toyota Cares Tundra in 2013.
