The debut led to Michael Waltrip’s rather irritating obsession (for TV viewers) with watermelons that culminated with a piece that aired during an episode of NCWTS Setup where Chastain took Waltrip to a watermelon farm ... Brendan Gaughan Driver Diary: That Winning Feeling

It’s been a busy month for us! It started at Dover International Speedway, where we just didn’t run as well as we would have liked. I like Dover a lot; it’s one of my favorite places. We got hit on pit road and had to go to the back and work my way back up through the field. We worked our way up; we still were very good, but it took us all day to get back to a spot ... Beyond the Cockpit: Landon Cassill on NASCAR Sponsorship And Home Renovation

Landon Cassill has had an up-and-down career in NASCAR’s top three National Series. Seven years ago, Cassill was an 18-year-old prodigy in Hendrick Motorsports’ driver development program. In 2007, he started six then-Busch Series races for Hendrick Motorsports in either their Nos. 5 or 24 Chevrolets, sponsored by the National Guard. The results showed a green driver without a lot of experience, someone who was learning on the job. However, Hendrick Motorsports gave Cassill more seat time, fielding cars for ... Read More »
