Sprint Cup teams are trying to prep themselves for the Eliminator Round of the Chase for the Sprint Cup in the desert of Arizona this week. Dover International Speedway to Remove Nearly 20,000 Seats

It looks like the Monster Mile is the latest to join the list of race tracks cutting down on total number of seats. According to a report originally in the Delaware State News, the turns 2 and 3 grandstands at Dover International Speedway are currently being removed, due to a declining need for spectator seating for events, including NASCAR racing, at the 45-year-old facility.
