Bandit Industries, Jeffrey Earnhardt Team Up for 2-Race Deal

Bandit Industries announced on Thursday it has signed a two-race deal to sponsor Jeffrey Earnhardt, JD Motorsports and Earnhardt’s No. 4 Chevrolet in the Nationwide Series.

Bandit will be the primary sponsor when Earnhardt takes the track at Mid-Ohio next weekend in the Nationwide Children’s Hospital 200. Bandit will return as co primary sponsor for Earnhardt in the VisitMyrtleBeach.com 300 at Kentucky Speedway on Sept. 20.

“We are very excited to get back on the track in NASCAR, and to make this return with Jeff and the Earnhardt legacy is truly an honor for us,” said Bandit’s NASCAR marketing manager and communications director Christopher Smith. “Jeff is rising through the ranks, and though we only have a couple races scheduled for 2014, they will be events that our fans and customers will remember for years.”

Bandit started the 2014 season as a primary sponsor for Parker Kligerman in the Camping World Trucks Series race at Daytona.  From there Bandit moved on to track sponsorship for the two race weekends at Michigan International Speedway.  Bandit’s second weekend at Michigan coincides with the sponsorship of Earnhardt at Mid-Ohio.

“Jeffrey and I are delighted to have Bandit on board with the team this week and beyond,” said team owner Johnny Davis. “Good partners make for good results, and we’re going into these final months of the season excited about the possibilities.”

Earnhardt currently sits 18th in the Nationwide Series points standings, with a season-best 16th-place finish at Talladega Superspeedway in May.
