Mark Howell
Mark joined Frontstretch in 2011 as a weekly website contributor. This season, he’s moved to our free e-newsletter where the popular Professor Of Speed column pops up each Wednesday. A full-time professor outside of racing, up in Michigan, Mark’s work often revolves around a sport he’s worked in as either a writer, crew member, or PR assistant for decades. Recent published books on stock car racing include a look at the link between NASCAR and pop culture, along with a retrospective on Fred Lorenzen.
