Timmy Hill Gets Make Motorsports Truck Ride at Atlanta

Timmy Hill will return to the ranks of NASCAR this weekend.

After filling in during XFINITY Series practice last weekend at Daytona, splitting the ride with Derek White, Hill announced that he will drive the No. 1 Make Motorsports Chevrolet in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Hill announced the news via his Facebook page.

Hill joins a team that finished 33rd in the NextEra Energy Resources 250 at Daytona International Speedway with Donnie Neuenberger driving. He brings over 100 career NASCAR starts to his resume, including 35 starts in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

Hill will need all that experience to make the Hyundai Construction Equipment 200 at Atlanta Motor Speedway as there are 33 trucks entered for the 32-truck field.
