Chad Boat, Vektor Vodka Partner for Phoenix Nationwide Race

Local boy Chad Boat has even more to cheer about as the Nationwide Series’ trip to Phoenix International Raceway approaches.

Boat will have a new primary sponsor, Vektor Vodka, onboard the No. 84 Chevy Camaro for the DAV 200 – Honoring America’s Veterans this Saturday.

Billy Boat Motorsports announced today (Nov. 3) that the premium vodka brand will adorn the car’s hood this weekend.

The race will mark Boat’s first trip to the one-mile speedway in the desert.

“Much like our NASCAR race team, Vektor Vodka is an upstart company trying to make a name for itself in a competitive industry,” said team owner Billy Boat. “[Vektor Vodka parent company] Native Spirits’ CEO Mark Williams and I have been friends for a long time, and it is great we can team up for this hometown event. The entire BBM team has been working hard on the No. 84 Vektor Vodka Chevrolet Camaro and I’m confident we’ll be able to earn a great finish in front of our friends, family, and employees.”

In the organization’s first year racing in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, Billy Boat Motorsports has ran 13 races with 6 DNFs and an average finish of 28th. The team recently expanded its effort to a full-time Camping World Truck Series effort through the rest of the year, fielding the No. 15 for Mason Mingus.
