The NASCAR Nationwide Series may be turning into the NASCAR XFINITY Series next season, but don’t say goodbye to Nationwide Insurance just yet. The Columbus, Ohio-based insurance company will become one of Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s primary sponsors in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series in 2015. On Wednesday, just prior the XFINITY announcement, Nationwide Insurance unveiled their paint scheme for Earnhardt’s car, which will run for the first time this weekend in Richmond.

In addition to its sponsorship on Earnhardt’s car, Nationwide Insurance will also serve as an associate sponsor for Danica Patrick and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. next season.

Nationwide Insurance is replacing National Guard as the primary sponsor on the No. 88 car since National Guard is ending its motorsports sponsorships at the end of this year. Currently, they sponsor Graham Rahal in the Verizon IndyCar Series as well as Earnhardt.

Earnhardt is currently enjoying one of the best seasons of his career. With three wins in 25 races—more wins than he’s accumulated in the last nine seasons combined—Earnhardt is poised to end Richmond near or at the top of the standings once the points are reset for the Chase for the Sprint Cup at the end of the night.

Nationwide Insurance’s final race as the title sponsor of NASCAR’s secondary season will be this November for the championship race at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
